WEDDING VENUES NEAR BULACAN

As the title goes here are our prospected venues before we finally chose the ONE <3
as i promised from my first blog i will be giving you tips the pros and cons and some prices for the venues that were once one of our choices but take note of the price changes alright? :) and of course with the mixture of some of my stories during the search :) my wedding is near and so it's giving me this chills :P haha

There are a lot of things that i personally consider for my wedding, there should be a garden where we can hold the ceremony and there should be a place for the wedding reception. I don't really know why but I really have this peg with the drapey drapey thingy.. I find it elegant and unique specially with the effects of the lights *heart *heart*

Of course we wanted a place that is comfortable for my visitors a place that can hold up to 250 visitors though we only have 200 in our list, spacey is one of the option.

At least it shouldn't be far from our home and so that it would be easily accessible to our visitors :)

Budget friendly :) this is what we all wanted in common, pretty lovely and budget friendly. (cheers)

Score Guide Ratings:
1- Poor
2- Fair

2. ALESSANDRA GARDEN RESORT AND HOTEL

Located at St. Francis Subdivision Meycauayan Bulacan near NLEX Meycauayan tollgate.
If you have a little extra budget for the venue and you want the Cinderella going down the stairs feel of wedding you can choose this very elegant place for a very formal occasion, they have a lot of spaces and venues to chose from but we recommend the covered garden because if we were given the chance to get married here that would be our choice :) but the price is really what break our hearts the most, a little pricey and its over our budget *sigh* or should i say ....sayang
The place is indeed enchanting, and its picture perfect too <3 an INSTAGRAM worthy place.

3. PATIO QUEEN SOFIA

It is in Maysan Valenzuela and the space is really huge, I actually haven't been there since I am here overseas but from the picture itself it is really big :) it was easily accessible too, I love the drapings and the high ceilings too <3 they have rooms for the bride and groom, but you see i am only searching for a venue because i already have other suppliers in mind so when they informed that they only have exclusive suppliers means a no for me :(
Pros: 1 stop shop
Cons: you have to avail their whole package
Price Range: package starts from 200 thousand depending on your package
Rating: this one's a 3

4. GRACE HARBOUR PAVILION

Located at Sta. Maria Bulacan again near NLEX Bocaue Exit, the place has a 300 pax capacity with your own choices of room availability they also offer different packages or the venue itself, they have an outdoor space for a Garden venue and a Grand gazebo for a indoor event, the parking is big too, i loved the place when i saw it from facebook they have this lighthouse in it its like a little the greenery for me at first :) the owner is very easy to deal with and polite too :)
Pros: you can do whatever you want w/o corkage fees and you can have their extra services too :)
Cons: for me they can still maximize their space for a picture perfect scene

5. PORTICO DE BUSTO

located in Bustos Bulacan, the place is a gold for me, the white paint, the garden, the indoors, I loved it all the mirrors the high ceiling the pool the stairs hahaha if only, if only. the elegance of the place really took my breath away, its a show stopper a scene stealer it has been a dream, if can have another event I would really make sure that it would be this place.. it was a year ago when i first inquired to them but up until now if i will see their photos I still fall in love with it again <3
Pros: it would be really the best choice :)
Cons: the place is far
Web Site: http://www.porticodebusto.com/
Price Range: its not pricey at all just check their site 13k, 17k
Rating: definitely a 5

6. The Greenery

Is a Picture Perfect place that offers a wide variety of venues to chose from they offer a lot of things like for activities and all they have their own suppliers too, the greenery has its own style and collaborated with different types of gimmicks and picture or INSTAGRAM worthy photos..
It has been my lifelong dream to get married on this place ever since they put this up and saw it on the net, but my budget permits me not, hahaha if only i saved a lot for my wedding i could've afford it so i'm just planning to have my E-sesh here by that at least we we're able to step foot on this heaven in bulacan :)
Pros: a picture perfect place
Cons: pricey and far from area
Web site: thegreenery.ph
Price Range: 500k refer to the site :P
Rating: a 5 for me
Update: this is where our Pre-Nup taken photo ctto Carlo Driz photography.

other options are:

7. PATIO FLORENCIA
8. JARDENITA DE MARIA PAVILLION
9. ST JOSEPH HOUSE OF SERENITY

So there they all are in all of these places has their own story this actually is the toughest part of all but once you were able to choose your venue, everything will go down smoothly and easier, so for me and Eboy (h2b) we have to consider everything specially accessibility and the price, but at least it has the feels :)

the wedding would be in...

GRACE HARBOUR PAVILLION!!! <3 :)
it is near Meycauayan, it is affordable and has a large space, they have what we wanted the Garden area and the big gazebo with high ceilings and the drapey thingy.. the owners are very generous to let their renters to chose what ever suppliers they wanted and to experiment on it, they are easy to deal with and always online whenever you have queries they are there to answer.. it is a great deal for us so this would our special place on our BIG DAY coming real soon..
hope this helps you in your decision my my dear B2B..
Happy preppy to all *kisses*

a guide in starting your wedding preparation right (the beginning)

So we are now officially down to 6 months before our BIG DAY, all I can say is that twas really a tough road since we've been planning this wedding from July last year I never thought it would be easy but i never thought it would be this hard :P surprise!! We've been engage since 2012 and was official last December (pamamanhikan in the Philippines) all i can say is that even in pamamanhikan the feeling is surreal its like a roller coaster of feelings never thought it would be like that, starting from the time that you have to ask your parents if H2B is going to bring his family with him to our house (nakakatakot pa naman si papa) but then he said yes; then at the pamamanhikan time i never expected him to cry so lahat kami naiyak din, the feeling is like he entrusted you to h2b and family and just a thought of it that they are letting go of their beautiful, wonderful and treasured daughters like us just hit me at that time.. akala ko im just excited at the fact na mamamanhikan na sila and we're getting married soon haaaaay a lil mixture of excitement, happiness and sadness sa part na yun... masarap pa din ang traditional style ung dadaan ka sa ganito full of love and blessings sa family nyo alam ko agree kayo jan <3

all of us girls wanted our dream wedding some want it simple the others extravagant, we have different types of weddings in different types of religion so for me na born again christian me and H2B decided a garden wedding :) tada!! and so you know my dream wedding is a extravagant one haha dream lang nmn yun pero di na sya applicable sa Pinas from simple weddings sa bonggang wedding everything is expensive so kailangan natin maging practical nowadays, I bet you wouldn't like to have a very expensive wedding and become empty handed and full of debts the next day dba? its a no no for every one. so let's cut the introduction short and just insert some of my stories in between ok ba un?..

I hope this blog would help you to plan and create your own dream wedding mga ka-bride to be.. are you excited? I am too ('',) heads up girls :)

Here's a few tips to begin with:

  • Your journey begins with a journal (so have one) this would be your best friend from now on promise! better have a big one! i advise you to have your favorite pen with your favorite color so it would mood while you write on it, better not stick in one color make it coded also para medyo may spice and lesser stress kasi di boring yung journal mo..
  • Think of what you really like, want and love for your wedding (of course isulat mo yan) list it all that comes through your mind, time will come you have to remove one of each and change with the other so expect a messy journal a very messy one haha!!
  • Read a lot of blogs, books, magazines, social media posts related to weddings (when i say read a lot i meant it) read read read...
  • Don't decide unless discussed to H2b of course i know most of us girls are so hands on and excited that we tend to forgot that we're not the only one's getting married here so let h2b participate para naman time will not come na you would say you're the only one fixing your wedding then you are so stressed na. girls girls girls tsk!
  • Decide on a wedding date. it may be your anniversary, your birthday, parents anniversary or anything basta mutual decision then go! (for us its my parents wedding anniversary) of course you also have to consider kung weekends ba to syempre it should be convenient to your visitor specially to your entourage. check the season of that month if it will fall on rainy days or summer I'll tell you why on my next blog :) advise your relatives or mga sponsors coming from other country's a year and a half if possible prior to the wedding date so that they can set their vacation schedule and be with them on your special day :)
  • Have a number of visitors. 100 pax, 200pax 300pax it will also help you to your next path
  • Decide your budget. 50k, a hundredk, 200k; 300k and so on pero dapat may pa sobra ka, depending sa type mo na kasal whether its simple or extravagant and your number of visitors as well. For me I wanted a cheap, budget friendly, unique yet classy and elegant wedding as much as possible and i bet you girls wanted the same :)

"parang raffle lang yan, the more visitors you have the higher the budget you'll be needing"

  • Decide on where to get married. it should be a very meaningful place to you sabi nga weddings are all about what you both are, something valued or part of your life.. it could also a place where you grow up.. here are some choices for you..
    1. Church wedding
    2. Garden wedding
    3. Beach wedding
    4. Destination wedding
    5. Backyard wedding
    6. Civil wedding

"for me and H2b we chose Garden wedding as i have mentioned above and we are getting married in BULACAN where we both grow up :)"

  • Pick a theme. you have a lot of choices to choose from, it can be rustic, shabby chic, great gatsby, country, disney, nautical, travel etc. for us we picked fairytale theme sa ceremony and stars sa reception its weird though haha :)

i can recommend  https://www.pinterest.com/ from their tag line "the world's catalog of ideas" believe me they are serious about it,

there you go, you have to keep in mind all of these from now, hope it guides you and be able to help you in your wedding preparation, I promise to post my suppliers and my other options before i have decided on one and i will continue to give you updates and feedbacks don't forget to share your stories too on the comment section.. please follow me till my next blog and i'll keep you posted on our road to #happilyeverafter.. much love <3 happy preppy ...
